Growing As One

Brethren,

Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!

I am so thrilled as preparations have begun for the upcoming convention in Vallejo, California where our beloved Pastor Emeliano Valle and Faith Gospel Center has graciously offered to host it this year.  For many of us, this will be a refreshing change and inspire us to expect something new and different from the Lord.

Our vision to strengthen California has continued to develop and grow over the last few years.  We have new churches and well-established churches all striving to build the kingdom of God in each of their respective communities.  Today our emphasis is for more communication, more compassion and more accountability between churches as we progress towards emulating this year’s convention theme,

“GROWING AS ONE”

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism;  one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all…From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.”   Ephesians 4:4-6,16

Looking ahead towards the convention we plan to have various venues from town hall meetings to breakout sessions.  From these forums we hope to gain valuable information from our pastors and leaders so we may equip and provide useful resources for their churches.  As always, our convention will have worshipful evening services where our anointed guest speakers will proclaim God’s Word and compel us to “grow as one.”
