Reaching Out Without Selling Out

The Great Commission has been the Church’s mandate to share the good news of Jesus Christ and willingly invest in the lives God has placed in our lives.

1 Corinthians 9:20 NLT  When I was with the Jews, I lived like a Jew to bring the Jews to Christ. When I was with those who follow the Jewish law, I too lived under that law. Even though I am not subject to the law, I did this so I could bring to Christ those who are under the law.

The question that follows is: “How do we witness to those living in sin without compromising biblical truths?”  The religious rulers of Jesus’ day accused Him of “selling out” by associating with those who were sinners, outcasts and the untouchable.  At this conference our group dynamics will seek the answer to this question and find ways in which we can reach out to the lost and maintain our stand on biblical principles and Christian values.

Gratefully in His service,

Rev. Ben Refuerzo
FAFB/IAFB General Superintendent
