Brethren,
Greetings in His matchless name!
I want to extend my utmost appreciation to all the pastors throughout the International Assemblies of the Firstborn. Your persevering spirit during this COVID era exemplifies the faith we all proclaim—“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.” (Heb. 11:1 NTL). I have been amazed as I viewed your live-streaming during this time—to God be the glory! I am reminded of how the Good Lord provides and equips those in His vineyard to spread the good news through social media and technology.
I believe the Lord is prompting us during this post COVID time and He wants our leaders to know, “You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone.” We continue to serve but have grown weary in doing well. God is speaking a word of encouragement to us through this text as we endeavor to move forward to where we should be…
…select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain—and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.” Exodus 18:20-22.
At this year’s convention, pastors and church leaders can look forward to the realization of “Impact 360”. I believe God has a word specifically for each ministry; one that will make a significant IMPACT in your churches and communities.
God has taught us that we are relational; people who need each other and saints that relish times of worshiping together in His presence. It’s been a while since our last gathering and I’m excited to see all of you. May our precious Lord bless you.
Gratefully in His service,
Rev. Ben Refuerzo
IAFB General Superintendent
